Meet Holly and Jack

The sky at 6.20 am, inky trees accenting a stormy sky.

Shady woodland in the garden where ferns like to dwell.

Mussaenda erythrophylla =(red leaved.) likes sun and dappled shade.

New fern leaf is emerging from the base of the King fern.

King Fern, Angiopteris evecta has a massive "foot".

The leaves of the King fern, this fern is more than 2 metres high. (more than 6 feet).

The seed of a tree fern has found a niche.

Holly and Jack are growing up together.

Dracaena Surculosa has lost its "Milky way" and made stars and moons!

Phlebodium (Polypodium) aureum cv.Mandiamum .

Spores of Phlebodium.

Croton fits in well with ferns as long as it gets some sun.

Native Five Finger Jack fern seeds freely.
Believe it or not: Sprinkle parsley seed on the head three times a year to reverse the effects of balding!! Traditional.....I wonder who had those .....brained ideas!
