Lovely photos, Trudi. It's strange to remember that you're already onto Friday and I'm still in Thursday!
What an interesting building in the first photo! It looks like a lot of ripples reaching into the sky.

Great photos! That building in the first photo is so neat - it looks like a great big stack of pancakes :)

No fan of skyscrapers am I - although I most always find TV/movie zooming in on such skylines pretty and appealing.

The beach though, oh my does it look nice, I'd love to be able to walk the dog along such a beach one day...

Sunita, it is called the wave building! Thank you for your visit.

Kanak, It is beautiful any time and it smells so fresh from the sea.

Blossom, thanks for your comment, it is different.

Thank you easygardener for your visit. Soon it will be crowded and then I am not there!

Pia, the skyscraper is called "wave" and it looks quirky. The beaches are exceptional beautiful you can walk for miles.

Hallo Titania,

Lieben Gruss

Great photos, hard to imagine the sun does not shine every day in QLD eh?

Always thought that building has some interesting lines.

Thanks for sharing with everyone in sky watch friday.

Is that the "leaning tower of Australia?" That one could also fit in an "architectural" meme ... which makes me think, there must be on of those somewhere. I have to study up on my Australian beaches, but isn't it the east coast ones that have the big waves, or are they blocked by the Great Barrier Reef?

Love the beach but wonder what architects are thinking of when they build those great phallic symbols.
We got some rain at last, only about 9 months late. Almost 50ml, I hope that keeps what is left of my garden alive for a little longer.

Titania, I also envy your beautiful beaches and your summer season!
The tall building, waves, is gigantic, but I dont really like it :)
Have a nice weekend!

The sky and water colors on the beaches are spectacular. Easy on the eye too since we're getting more snow here. Thanks for sharing!

It was a very long time ago that I was at Broad Beach. Let's see...it was perhaps 1965. Lovely to see it again after all these years.
I do miss the warm sand, lovely blue ocean, and the beautiful sunshine, especially during our long winter. I miss swimming in the ocean!
