Oh, the flametree and the powderpuff are awesome! The banksia is kind of neat too. They all look like something out of a storybook, cute! And unusual to my Swedish eyes, I don't think one would find anything as exotic (to us) in our gardens here.
They all look lovely and it's fascinating that they are all native trees. The flame tree is very impressive and you have got to love a plant that's called Powderpuff Lilly Pilly!
Darla, Donna, Barbarapc, thank you for your kind comments.
Silvia, thank you for your visit. Yes all the native trees are in my garden.
Pia thank you for your comment. Australian flora is unique. Some flowers are miniscule like from the Baeckia but the shrub is weeping like a willow and absolutely covered with dainty, white flowers.
easygardener, thank you. The Powderpuff Lillypilly can grow to a fair height. The branches are weeping which gives it a wonderful look with all the powderpuffs hanging down.
Thank you Maria. Visit Australia in Spring when all the wildflowers are blooming in West Australia.
That Illawarra Flame Tree is gorgeous! It really looks as if it is on fire. Beautiful, beautiful blooms everywhere. You really have a surfeit of beauty, dont you ?
I am so pleased that you have agreed to join the One Hundred Strangers project. I have left you a comment on the blog that we will use. What I need now is for you to send me an email to this address please

removing the brackets, of course. Then I can pick up your email address and use it through the Blogger Permissions system to invite you to become a contributor to the project. Hope to hear from you soon. Much appreciation, Julie
LOTS of time will be given. The really good thing for you, is that I suspect that you will have lots of interesting looking folk up your way. Frequently, down here, they are either way-beautiful or they are too busy! Often both those ... dont forget to send me your email, please ... Cara from Brisbane Daily Photo is having a look to see if she wants to join too ...

thank you for the ID on my bromeliad, have been wondering which one it is. Adding you to my bloglist, I love all of your informative posts!
Thanks for a peep into winter paradise.
Fantastic - I feel warmer all ready. What splendid blossoms.
Titania, what lovely trees and shrubs. Are these from your garden? They all look worth of a place in the garden.
Best wishes Sylvia (England)

Oh, Titania - they're all so fabulous and I am green!
I am hoping for flowers on our grevillea next year. If only ours would look as beautiful as yours, I would be over the moon.

What great pictures for educating me on some Australian natives. I have read about some, but these photos really bring them to life.
