Its sweet fragrance redolent of warmth, sunny, happy days and sweet memories.
Even the buds are deeply scented. The colour, coral and gold, changes with the seasons.
In spring the colours are much stronger.
This rose is at every stage attractive. The faded flowers, gracefully let the petals fall.
This rose grows well from Zone 6

The Rose Family
The rose is a rose,
And was always a rose.
But the theory now goes
That the apple's a rose,
And the pear is,
and so's The plum, I suppose.
The dear only know
What will next prove a rose.
You, of course, are a rose--
But were always a rose.

I love everything abaout nature..............
Four fabulous pictures of the stages of the rose. It has the most wonderful colours. I can't grow roses or vegetables, so I stick to natives mostly.
Wunderschöne Rose.Bei uns blühen sie auch bald wieder.

Thank you for your meaningful comment my kindness friend. I REALLY appreciate that...
I haven't seen this rose before... what beautiful honey/ apricot coloring... and fragrant too! Yum... :)
I have never been a successful rose grower. I've tried twice, but our winters are so extreme that I've never gotten one to overwinter, though I have friends that have roses here. But THAT rose in your post is so amazingly beautiful that I would be tempted to try again.
What a GREAT shot! I love flowers in genreal, and roses in particular.
Every stage so beautifully captured. And the accompanying verse--loved reading it!
This hybrid tea rose is very beautiful. The French sure have a way with roses.
I love the rose - those golden colours are so beautiful!
After your words and beautiful description I simply don't know what to say. It only remains to me to imagine its sweet fragrance and to look at the photos admiring the beauty of your lovely and really attractive roses.
Beautiful colours. Lovely to see it in all its stages.
I hadn't read that Robert Frost poem before, but it's fun and appropriate to your post. Beautiful rose photos.

The beauty of the rose is, they stay around all year round in different places regardless of the season.
I am honoured of your visit to my blog. And thank you also for following my photographic blog. I see more and more Australians being so active in the blogosphere.
Hi Titania, lovely photos, I could almost smell the roses (lol). Didn't know Frost could be funny.
Lovely to see this rose develop. Once again I have enjoyed your wonderful photos. I'm looking forward to the roses blooming here.
I just love nature so much...Thanks for remembering and understand me deeply from your heart.....My kindness friend...
Barbara
Beautiful - I wish I could smell it. I love the Robert Frost poem.
Very pretty. I've never heard of it although it looks a lot like Royal Sunset climbing rose.
I love the colors of this rose, it matches the color of the sunrise in your photo. It must be quite beautiful on your Gold Coast. Quite different from what we call the Gold Coast here in Chicago. Happy gardening!
Thank you for posting these pictures at different stages of the growth of now somewhat rare rose. For those of us interested in the kinder gentler colour blends of the 1950s and 1960s, this is really helpful.
