A small, walled garden;

This is my daughter's and her partner's suburban Garden;
It shows that one can grow beautiful vegetgables in a small space.
Bougainvilleas planted in tall pots give splashes of colour.
An arrangement of Succulents in a pot by the pool.

These tomatoes were so tasty and they had heaps of it;

A type of yellow capsicum;

Rhubarb in a pot does well. It is quite precarious to grow in this humid, hot climate. Lilli had a good harvest.

She has grown all sorts of salad plants, here chiccorino rosso. There are no insecticides used in this garden, the vegetables are all healthy.

Nooks and crannies are not spared either.

Believe it or not:
Emus and kangaroos cannot walk backwards, and are on the Australian seal for
that reason.

It is still hot here; Have a nice day!

Your daughter obviously has a green thumb - just like her mum! This garden of hers looks so very nice!

I've been thinking of you in connection with all those terrible fires. It's so horrible... Are you in that area?

That's a good example of being to grow lots without a lot of space. Everything looks so good!

Beautiful garden. I like the pool, too. Hope the fires aren't too close to your area.

Thank you Katarina for your visit.
Yes, Victoria is in a horrendous peril with the fires burning everything in its path. We live in southeast Queensland and are not affected by these fires.
My daughter just came back from Melbourne. The temperature in the city was 48 C and a hot, horrible wind was rushing with 80 km through the city, she said it was scary and like in a furnace.

That looks lovely and relaxing! Cute doggie too:) Is it a river you can see through the palmtrees?

I'm glad you live in safe part of Australia, there have been a lot on the news here too about the devastating fires, it's so sad...

Lovely view from the garden. I do like the tall pot
I'm amazed your daughter can grow rhubarb. Just shows what a bit of tender loving care can achieve.

Hallo Titania

Elfe

I never would have thought of growing rhubarb in a container - what a great idea. Your daughter and her partner have a fabulous garden. I can taste those tomatoes.

While it is cold here it is too hot over there. While the sun is shining brightly there it is snowing over here…
I like your daughter’s garden very much. The pool is so inviting but those vegetable that grow from the pots look so beautiful and health. That’s very useful and creative idea.
I am glad that you are not affected by the fires but I am very sorry for those who lost their lives and may God help those who lost their dear ones and their homes…..

We are having a hot spell here in Singapore too - the monsoon season comes and go with almost no rain and we have some small bushfire near my house....but nothing compared to the one in Victoria....48degC is hard to fathom
