SkyWatch Friday;

SkyWatch Friday;

The summer sky had threatening dark clouds and we were waiting for a downpour;
Then suddenly the sky lightened up and was displaying wonderful sunset colours. It took me a while to realise it as I live surrounded by trees and hills and always have to search for an opening to get a shot at the sky. I was racing outside but until I was positioned between the trees, branches full of spiderwebs, the sun had alreadysaid goodnight and all that was left was the afterglow.

So beautiful colours! I love your summer sky, it takes some time until we have summer again here. Everything is frozen.
Have a good weekend.

Oh what a beautiful sunset, oh what a beautiful sky:) To have something nice to drink and watch that sunset from the veranda/garden, bliss.

So I'm thinking that is the most beautiful sky I have seen in a long time.

They're still pretty skies, there, framed by the trees.

What wonderful shots you did get! Often the afterglow is even more spectacular, which seems to have been the case here.

Ahhhh...now this is what I'd love to see for the weekend! The forecast is for a bit of sun but then I have never trusted in what the weatherman says!

Thank you for stopping by. I'm still trying to get into the swing of things...oh how I miss my garden (all covered in a deep layer of snow of course). Happy New Year!

Wonderful shots Titania, I also love how the trees are seen as dark silhouettes. I have a new camera and look forward to experimenting with different shades of light.

Hi Titania
That was me who wrote the last post, by mistake I did in on the wrong email address.
Cheers, Catmint

Ohhh! Trudi, that's so amazingly beautiful! I cant even dream up such colours. Lucky you! Perfect scenery to dream by.

(BTW, I've been asking around but everyone says that one needs all kind of certificates, etc. to be able to get seeds or plants into the country. Now what do we do? This is so heartbreaking. And aggravating! )
